Horn of Africa Response to Drought

The World Vision Horn of Africa blogspot is maintained by World Vision's Emergency Response team or staff responding to the ongoing drought crisis in the Horn of Africa.  World Vision is globally positioned to help with immediate needs like food, water and shelter when disaster strikes and to help communities to recover and prevent future catastrophes. In 2010, World Vision responded to nearly 80 disasters worldwide devoting nearly $550 million for disaster mitigation, preparedness and response efforts. This work helped approximately 15 million people.
